A vital component of TCM is acupuncture, which involves inserting tiny needles into the body at particular locations in order to encourage energy flow and restore a state of equilibrium Acupuncture helps balance the body by focusing on certain acupoints and meridians to control the flow of Qi (vital energy). Practitioners uncover abnormalities in Qi and the body’s organ systems using TCM diagnosis procedures such as pulse reading, tongue examination, and patient history evaluation. Acupuncture, herbal medicines, dietary changes, lifestyle changes, and other TCM methods customized to the individual’s unique situation may be used in treatment. Acupuncture and TCM can give symptom relief and encourage the body’s natural healing processes by restoring balance and harmony within the body. To acquire an accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment plan for your specific illness, it is essential to make an appointment with a trained TCM practitioner or acupuncturist.

What is Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a reasonable “go-to” complementary treatment for most diseases and conditions. It is 100% natural. Acupuncture is seldom a once-off procedure. You might initially need twice a week for a series of weeks conditions determined. Most medical aids cover acupuncture treatments, so you may want to look into that. Acupuncture is the insertion of thin, metal needles to stimulate specific points of the body that reach meridians. These stimulation points are called acupuncture points or acupoints. Traditional Chinese medicine holds that there are 365 commonly used acupuncture points on 20 meridians of the human body. In 1996, the FDA gave acupuncture its first U.S. seal of approval, when it classified acupuncture needles as medical devices. In the 20 years since, study after study indicates that, yes, acupuncture can work.
